Since her comb has started to grow, she's concerning me a bit. Yesterday it was pink, not yellow or peachy. Today, not as pink. I can't tell if her white or black is wider. She's just not being obvious to me. My last barred rock was easy.
So here are some pics of her from a week old, then maybe a bit older and then today at 5+ weeks. I never really seem to have gotten a good pic of her head spot.
her head on the bottom
early wings where it was looking very much pullet like, but there were spots on the upper part where it wasn't so much black compared to the white...
closer of the area where it seems like much more white than black
and today pics
comb - not much bigger than the black sex link, but a little (but she is also bigger than the black sex link too - black sex link has very much a yellow/peachy comb - the BR goes from pink to not so pink)
best I could do with her legs today
I'm torn. As soon as I am convinced she is a she, then that comb pinks up and then I'm not so sure.
I'm sure if I saw others next to her it would be easier, but it is just her and the sex link waiting to grow up to keep my single BO company again.
