New Silkies, roo?

Hello, I picked up a couple of silkies for my my two kiddos last night. They're hard to find around here,so I was happy to have grabbed them.
They were sold as hens and the gentleman mentioned they were around a year old and just begun laying. There was one egg in their pen, so I know at least one is female.

They're not great examples of their breed, and the one I'm questioning strongly has a single comb/no beard.
I hope I'm wrong, since it took so long to find them, but we definitely have more than enough roosters here already. Lol

Best guesses? (In the foreground. They're both damp as I just bathed them.)

ps silkies can be bearded or non-bearded. Would like to see his comb from the front just out of curiosity. Would the seller take him back?

Thank you. I don't think the seller would take him back, unfortunately. Hopefully it won't be difficult to place him, given the lack of availability around here.
I'll see if I have a better picture of his face, and if not I'll try to grab a comb photo for you today.

Over the last few days, I've determined that we definitely have one layer. I wasn't certain who, but assumed it was the little bearded bird in the background of the initial photo. I've been leaving the eggs in the nest along with a few fertile sumatra eggs we've been finding in the barn hoping to encourage broodiness.
Well, after hearing a racket while I was doing chores, I opened the temp coop to see this:

This is the suspected cockerel, which I think is now safe to assume is actually a hen?
She's been getting on and off the eggs intermittently and yelling a lot, so I'm not sure if she's starting to go broody, or trying to lay.
Now I'm suspicious of the bitty bearded one! Lol
