Woke up and my chicken was plucked over night by its roommates... any ideas on why would be helpful...

Make sure they have plenty of room and aren't overcrowded. Pullets require at least 20% protein chick feed, or they may peck feathers. Do they get outside to free range with supervision? That can relieve boredom. You can use anti pecking lotions, bad tasting creams, such as Nustock, or BluKote to cover bare spots. Spend some time with them, and watch for bullies. They may be arranging their pecking order, but this is not normal, and it can lead to cannibalism later on.
