question about feeding ducklings

My ducklings are about 3 weeks old. I got some grit today. I wanted to see if they can eat peas or what would be ok. And is chick grit ok? Just wanted to be sure first. Thanks

chick grit is fine to give to ducklings (and chicks), frozen peas tend to be easier for them as they are somewhat softer once thawed too.

So what do I do just put the grit in a bowl and they will get some when they need it?

i mix chick grit in with a small amount of feed (fed about every 10 days) and then you can feed the treats after they've ate the first batch of feed with the grit.   after they are a few months old you can offer larger grit free choice or mix it with feed as needed.
