17 hatch so far since this morning. 35 were set. My wife is excited she was able to watch 2 come out.

AH! That is so exciting! What is the yellow thing in the incubator? An egg turner without trays? Congratulations on your hatch!

Yes it the egg turner w/o trays. I had to leave so my wife and daughter had to tend to them. So I just told them remove the trays. The wire on bottom keeps curling up. So it was easier for them to just leave it in.

28 of 35 hatched yesterday we'll let the other 7 set a couple more days.

I set 20 eggs this morning lat time I set 60 eggs thinking a 50% or less hatch since I use a homemade incubator. 48 hatched and that was way more birds than I was ready for. Never again so only 20 hope 15 hatch.
