We had our first duckling hatch at 1:00 am Weds morning. Two more eggs appear to be getting close to hatching, but haven't yet. I am thinking of keeping the hatched duckling in a box in the house rather than take her out to the brooder all by herself. I'll put them all in the brooder when the other ones are ready. Will the duckling be warm enough in the house without a heat lamp? Thanks!

If your house is about 85*-90* first week the ducklings need to be kept at that temp then 5* cooler each week there after.
