Any incubator luck?

I have a small flock of Old English Game Birds, that I just LOVE! Unfortunately I have to get rid of my rooster because he can be very mean and attacks me along with another rooster. I just love the breed and would love to have some chicks from them before he goes. My question is has anyone had any luck with homemade incubators? I've heard some great success stories and then others said it was almost a waste of time. The other question is what type of incubators would you recommend if not homemade that are lower in price? Thank you!

Hovabator. That's the best bang for your buck when you don't want to spend much. Your local feed stores usually carry Farm Inovators or Little Giant. Hovabator is far better but usually has to be gotten online. Incubator Wharehouse will be your cheapest option unless you find one used on eBay.

There are many models. The cheapest is called still air. Next up is the still air with a fan in it and it goes all the way to Genesis which is pricey. Still airs you run 101F at top level of eggs. Forced air models (large fan) 99.5F.

No used incubators on eBay today but here is the cheapest listing with shipping; Incubator Wharehouse on eBay:

Thanks for the suggestion, I had looked into this one before and I looked into it again, and this time I decided that I will be ordering it. I'm really excited for it to come, and hopefully I can get some chicks hatched. Thanks again!
