Hello, when cleaning my brooder today, I noticed some of my chicks smell like their feed. Is this normal?

Sounds alright. Better then smelling like something died or poop.

I'm not entirely sure, but it smells kind of sweet. I don't know really. Hopefully it's not the poop smell...

Even if you don't see it, their food is pretty dusty and they spend quite a bit of time pecking through it. I would be more surprised if they didn't smell like it.
