Okay, the promised update on my birds. Here are more current pictures of my bantams.
The breed of the bird pictured below still intrigues me. I don't know what it is or even what the color pattern would be. I believe it is a cockerel. 17 weeks old, and has had a good bit of color in the comb and wattles since about 5 weeks.
Below is the second bantam. I believe it is an OEGB partridge colored pullet. The picture is from a few weeks ago but the only differences are more color in the comb and wattles. And the comb has a bit more size to it. 17 weeks old. I really need another picture. I'm usually too busy petting her to take one though.
This third bird pictured is another puzzle. 17 weeks old, bantam, believed to be a pullet since the comb and wattle color only started showing in the last couple of weeks. And even with the increase in size and color on them there isn't very much. I have no idea on breed. OEGB was suggested but she doesn't carry herself like one. The bird just above when seen from the side carries herself differently....
Any thought on breed would be greatly appreciated. Am I correct in thinking picture 1 - cockerel, picture 2 - pullet, picture 3 - pullet?
