Araucana pullet or roo?

Thread Starter

This araucana is about 12-14 weeks old and I have no idea what gender it is.

Originally it had two brothers in with it and was very obviously different.

I sold the two roos and within 2 weeks it's comb had turned red and it was starting to look more roo-ish.

I have been told araucanas are hard to sex, but any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that's a rooster.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.

I would take a guess at pullet. I'm no expert.    The roos as per my understanding have a larger wider comb, than the hens.   This one looks to be narrow to me.   Lets see what others think.

BTW, auracanas are supposed to be rump-less, unless they are mixed.   How is this one???
