I have these 3, although only able to post 2 right now, 14 week old Chicks I need assistance with knowing Pullet or Cockerel? hatched by my silkie (foster mom) on New Years.
I posted on FB, got lots of feedback, mostly pullet! I am somewhat skeptical of the silver one, I don't think the pic shows it very well but I think it saddle and hackle feathers are pointy and narrow, perhaps the effect of its pattern is causing the obscurity? I am quite certain the Roo Sire was my Egyptian Fayoumi, not sure of the Hen Dam though as it could have been any one of my brown egg layers, and prior to the Coyote mishap pre Christmas, it could have been Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, or this white one which I have no clue what her possible breed is or mix if mixed (see below)! I don't think I had any other brown egg layers at the time as my Black Australorp and Silver Penciled Rock/Brow Leghorn mix weren't laying yet I don't think, along with the Black Sex Link, I think she is older and doesn't lay anymore!
