I have a hen that I'm quickly trying to relieve of what I see as possible eggbinding. I've read in some posts that Calcium should be given for the problem and that this can be via TUMS. I have Tums (Regular Strength Antacid/Calcium Supplement). How do I give this? Crush into a powder and hope she eats it out of my hand? Try to dissolve in water and give orally with a syringe? And, how much do I give... Each tablet has 200mg of Calcium. Thanks for your quick attention!! I appreciate it!!
