The hens are white leghorns, Rhode Island reds, bared plymouth rock, white crested black polish, brown leghorn, and mixes between these and black cochin rooster.
So, some of the hens are Cochin mixes? If that's the case, I'd suspect them to be the mom(s). All of the other breeds are clean legged, if they were one of the parents, I'd expect a lot less feathering on the shanks.
ok yeah. the mix is a black cochin bantam and the momma hen was a white leghorn and black bantam cochin but the hen turned out to have featherd feet but all white. I think these are the mixes.
