Help with sexing RIR

Hello all my Rhode Island Red is about 8 weeks old now and I was wondering if it's possible to get a definitive rooster or hen answer. It's starting to act more aggressively to the other birds and can stick the feathers on the back of its neck up kind of like a cat. I haven't seen the others do it. Thanks for the help.

thanks. That's what I have read everywhere. I was hoping it's not true since the other one looks about the same too. I can deal with one rooster but 2 for 8 other hens seems excessive. Looks like I now have to read up on ways to tame it.

I feel the same way I just got a 8 week old white maran that is supposed to be a girl but I posted it on this site and half are saying girl and half is saying male so now I don't know but u never know
 
Oh I have no problem butchering them. I have 2 meat birds that will be ready to go in three weeks. They could go with them. But I do have a neighborhood hawlk that a rooster can occupy it's time with.
