My hens have been laying for six months recently one has started laying eggs with blood in it. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Feeding a good quality layer feed, limiting extras and treats and keeping the hens' environment as stress free as possible… More info and causes of bloody eggs here: http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/common-egg-quality-problems (Scroll down for internal egg issues - see "blood spots")

X2

Romans 3:23 – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 10:9-10 – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

How much blood....pics would help...and how often?

How old is bird....about one year?

Any trauma/stress lately...predator attacks, new birds added, etc?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
