Transferring chickens form broader to coop

My chickens are 2 months old when they were in the broader in the house I put a rod for them to roost on. I moved them outside about a month ago to an outside broader pen and made sure it had roosts, sometimes used them but not always only 2 hens and a rooster. They go in chicken pen in day time and went back by Themselves at night now I moved them to a bigger coop still inside their pen as I needed outside broader box for newest chicks and these three won't go in coop at night. This is the second night I put them inside on the roosts. They stay there all night and come out in the morning and stay outside all day . How long before they will go inside at night and will they start rooting by themselves . Thanks

You may wish to try keeping them in lockdown in the coop for 2-3 days - after that they should have learned where "home" is.

All the best
