Bought 2 of what are suppose to be light brahmas chicks from a Rural King. They are yellowish with coloring on the tips of their wings. They have NO feathers on their legs. They are also bigger than the other chicks we got that are the same age. They look identical to the light brahmas that the local farm market has minus the feathers on the legs. Can they still be light brahmas or are they something else? Any ideas?

Well they can't be brahmas at all because of the featherless legs. Could be another breed of the same color. Can you see what type of comb they will have yet?

The comb isn't really pronounced yet. The only other yellow type of chicks the store was selling were leghorn and amberlinks. I questioned them about the chicks not having feathered legs and they said that the other batch that came in looked the same way and they were labeled as light brahma. Maybe hatchery mislabeled or sent the wrong birds. I'm not having any luck finding even a picture of a similar one. Could it maybe be a sexlink?

I'm thinking possibly Delawares??? I can't find anything similar online except them. The store sold 2 huge bins of these chicks as light brahmas. Kind of a bummer they are not.
