Snowy day today so I went ahead and built my ducks a larger brooding area. Used some extra 1/2" ply and some 2 x 3s I had stacked up in the corner. Easy measurements... 4 feet by 4 feet by two feet high. The watering area is 2 feet by 2 feet with towels under it to catch the water. Change and wash those once a day should be easy enough. I put in a simple divider, held up by four screws, to keep them in the warmer corners for now. I'll remove it during cleaning and play time and then permanently once they get bigger.
My Rouens took to it right away. This raising ducks thing sure is fun and sure is a time waster!
