Hi, I have a situation very much like the last post about a similar condition but my girl doesn't seem to be getting better.
One of my hens is swollen under her vent. It is soft and squishy and has gotten worse in the last 2 days. I have been soaking her bottom in warm water as advised by another chicken group. Today at the feed store the local "chicken expert" told me I should stick my fingers in her vent to see if it's a stuck I did that, and found what seems like old food, grot and poop. I scooped it out and at some point there was also blood wjuch is whwn i stoped. She is eating and drinking but doesn't like to walk around and won't sleep on her Roost.
