You all are so helpful! Not sure how I would figure this all out without you all. I'm going to get the 50 pound bag. I am going to keep 3 of the 6 ducks I get In my backyard. The rest my friend wants. I am building a duck house right now. I have it all framed out. Have not put the plywood on yet. I live in northern MN. In the winter should I make this so a heat light bulb even 100 Watts can be inside this duck house somehow? I'm not sure how WH do in the winter. Of course I will bring them inside when it is 50 below at night. I can't imagine they could survive that.
