These are my four month old chicks, the larger two are of mixed breed and look male to me and so much like their dad looked at that age so they are called Ronnie and Reggie for now. I'd love for it to be proved otherwise so I'd love some input.

The Polish, Ziggy, was from a mail order egg as was the (as yet unnamed) Silkie.

Any ideas on gender?

Top two do unfortunately look like cockerels. Can't tell what the smaller ones are with these pics, but my guess is pullets.

Thank you, Ronnie and Reggie it is then! If they are anything like their father they will be huge!

Fortunately I have had a great deal of success in finding good homes for my extra cockerels having rehomed 7 from my last years hatch.

x2. I would not suggest keeping the 2 roosters, as they will fight each other to the death (literally) and will most likely become mean and aggressive..

My previous roosters got along fine from hatching to adolescence as they grew up together, once they were fully mature they were rehomed apart from two who lived together as batchelors until they were around 30 weeks. Once the hens they were with were mature there was strictly one rooster per flock.

Ronnie and Reggie will live together until they are mature enough to rehome but then will be split up before they are put in with hens.
