I crushed two eggs I'm incubating - what should I do?

I'm freaking out a bit over here. I just took off my incubator lid to turn my quail eggs and the lid slipped and crushed two eggs. Do I just take them outside and leave them there? Since there are live, developing chicks in the egg I'm so unsure what to do. They have been incubating since the 26th of March amd today was their 8th day (if I did that math right).
 
If you did not break the inner membrane you can sometimes patch them back up and they will develop, although I have personally only had very limited success doing so...

For small cracks you can lay a bead of white school glue on it and let dry, for a more 'smashed' area, take some white school glue and water it down 50% with water, then take a small section of paper towel or tissue paper just slightly larger then the smashed area, soak it in the glue/water mix and spread it over the smashed area as a bandage...

Be aware anywhere you cover up won't breath like it should so, if you have to cover over half the egg chances are it's not going to work well...

Really badly, their insides are dripping out :/ Would you say the embro is dead now? Or is there a way just to end its life? I'm not sure how much pain they can feel at this point.

If they are leaking they are done, toss them in the trash... If you are overly concerned about euthanizing them first to make sure they are dead toss them in the freezer for a hour...
 
Looking at them again, it may be only one membrane is broken, but the other is bad

I decided to look in the egg that was crushed - I don't see anything that resembles an embryo. I did notice a clear white dot when I first opened the egg - doesn't that mean the egg was not fertile? I'm confused because I candled them, but I could very well have made a mistake. There does seem to be part of egg that is thicker though. What do you guys think? I'll feel a lot better if this wasn't a chick to begin with.

Okay, thats actually quite a relief! I attempted candling the other and it seems mostly clear (it was hard for light to get in all the way since it was crushed). Thanks so much!
