Yes they do!!! Fingers crossed I got it warmed back up and it perked up a bit and starting chirping so I took it back outside and under momma and to my surprise she had another little one so looks like 4. The sun is back out as well so taking this all a good sign.
Momma doesn't seem too happy with me lately, I think she is feeling cooped? The chicks seem to be doing well, I am hoping to move them out to their coop this weekend when I can keep an eye on them they will still not have access to the outside but at least will be out of a brooder in the garage. If the temps stay in the 50's during the day can I open the pop door before they are 2 weeks old or would you wait until they are older? Looks like we will be in the 40's- 50's next week. And I have another 7 babies due to hatch in another coop next Friday!
Thank you for that advice! I will do that! I work during the day until 3 so I can let them out for a bit when I get home and see how they do and then make sure they get back in the coop! It's like I am a first time mom all over again!
