hi I was thinking of hatching some bantams under my pekins when they go broody. Are Poland skittish or can they be calm cheers. Here's my girls and coop I'd be hatching them out in.As soon as I saw polands I knew I had to have them, they stole my heart
I started with hatching eggs and have not looked back since. Such a friendly and interactive breed with lots of love to give. I incubated and hatched unrelated eggs to create two breeding pens of them. After this there was no stopping me from hatching them. Here are a few pics of my birds past and present. looks like they like being with people their gorgeous.Nice pics!!
They can be skittish but if you tame them from the start they are loving little birds. Talking to them all the time really helps and when you approach them talking to them helps so they don't get spooked. With the big crests they can't always see you approaching them.
They like lots of attention ~
