Are there objects that could cut a chickens digestive track?

I have wanted to feed my chickens some sunflower seeds and was wondering if there was a chance of there innards being harmed.

:welcome  Sunflower seeds are no problem whatsoever.  From the esophagus to the crop to the gizzard which is the super grinder very little is dangerous except for pointy wire, perhaps broken glass and anything really sharp.  Swallowed string can cause problems if it makes it's way into the intestines.  Generally the digestive tract of a bird is pretty durable.
