Roosters fighting for dominance, Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Rhode Island Red 1 yr old rooster and a Americauna 2 yr old rooster. The Americauna is very docile and has never fighted with any other rooster even if the other one is older or younger than he is. From what I know, the Americauna (Captain Rogers) is the dominant one so I think the Rhode Island Red (Reef Cuttlefish) has challenged his dominance. I came out today and they were fighting so much. I separated them but I don't know what to do next. They were not using their spurs but were pecking each other like crazy. Both of them have blood all over and when I stopped the fight, Captain Rogers seemed to be winning because he had less blood on him and less comb damage. I checked each of them and neither of them have lost an eye or seem to have any permanent damage. Any idea on what I should do??? I don't want to shoot them but I might have to if I don't find some way to stop them:flPlease help!!!:hide

I'd say its highly likely to continue so one has to go (or they may both go without your intervention). Personally, I'd keep the older roo thats more docile.

One of my neighbors offered to take him, I'm so glad she did. Plus, it might have just been spring that  caused them to fight. But I'm glad that I didn't have to cull him.:weee
