Moulting or mites? - Page 2

Its probably a stupid question, but i will ask all the same - do chickens moult in your climate? The reason i ask is because here in Kenya chickens do not (not en-masse at least), but there are times when some of my commercial dual purpose breeds loose feathers on the front neck area. 

 

If you are unsure, I'd suggest checking in with the Aussie thread "Australia, six states and that funny little island" and see what members in the Sydney area have to say.

Yes i think so, it gets quite cold in winter
