Black poop

I walked into the coop today but only to see a dark black poo. Looks almost like from a animal! What could this be they have fresh food and water and were acting fine today and yesterday. Could it be from scratching around in the dirt eating worms yesterday but wouldn't that make there poo green or brown not black like this

I am positive it is their's because I lock the barn door, stall,outdoor pen,wire door at night. But in the morning everything else is open but the barn door. So I am 99% its theirs. I know black poo in animals/humans means bleeding but they seem fine no problem and are laying eggs.
