Chickenlover200's flock

Our first rooster attacked me a few times but he attacked my little sister more than anyone else. She was the one who made us keep him! He died at 3 years old. My bantam brahma rooster started attacking us a while after the first roo died, I let him know i was the boss, he only does it about once a month now.

Yeah, that was another concern that forced us to make the decision we did concerning T.Roo's fate. I've got 2 little brothers who are vulnerable to attacks, and it's best not to take chances that someone would get seriously hurt. :)

Good for you! Hopefully our 9 little cockerels will turn out to be sweethearts.

Whoa! 9 cockerels?? Will they get along all housed together?
I've had three housed together and it went well.
I've showed my roosters who is boss, not be afraid, carry some sort of protection, I can pick them all up, no one attacks me. My dad and older brother on the other hand though... They get attacked all the time

We're going keep my 6 bantam bantam boys in their own little coop, while the 3 Isbar boys are going to be housed with the girls in the big coop. Hopeful everything will work out well!

Just thought I would post pics of my chickies that came today! I was on the bus when the post office called so I didn't get to see them. Then Mom picked them up and brought them to my first hour class. :p
They are bantam Cochins :)
