I have 2 black australorp hens. About 1 year old. One of them keeps laying wierd eggs. The are almost white, and the other one lays nice brown eggs. Half the time they are just randomly dropped in the yard somewhere, almost like they fell out when she wasn't expecting it. And sometimes they are inside the coop where they sleep, just below the perch, like they fell out when she was sleeping. The one I found today was pretty long and kind of thin. Is there something wrong with her? I don't know which one it is yet...

She could have a defective shell gland, some diseases will cause it, stress, and some medications are other causes. If she's consistently doing it and looks fine otherwise it may be what she does. Weird eggs occasionally happen. Keep stress down, are you absolutely sure she's an Australorp, what color are her earlobe?

Red I think? They don't really let me get close the them. But the one that I believe is laying these eggs has an underdeveloped appearance when compared to the other hen. Her comb is barely visible, and she didn't start laying eggs until at least 3 months after the other one did. They are the same age.
