Hi~ I'm new to this, I have 6 chicks (~3 weeks old) and getting 4 more today (5 days old). Can they all be in same brooder? And when bigger, will having two separate coops work? One is only for ~6 hens so need another or figure out how to build onto existing coop. Thanks for your input!

I wouldn't mix the one and three week olds; I would probably wait until they are two and four or three and five weeks, as the little ones will be less fragile at that age.

You can have as many coops as you are willing to and want to build or buy, as long as they are all either within eyeshot of each other or each contain 2+ birds so no one gets lonely.

Thank you for your reply! Being a 'newbie' I'll gladly accept any advice from seasoned egg gatherers!
