When chickens and technology collide.....

I am a first time chicken owner, and we picked up our dozen chicks we ordered (which actually turned out to be 15) this morning.

 

I have the brooder and everything set up.. and being an IT guy by trade (among other things), they now have their very own chicken-cam. You can see it at:

I actually set it up so friends back in the city can see what i am up to these days here in the middle of nowhere, and since we both work during the day, I can keep an eye on the girls when we are away. I work in radio, so they may all become famous yet :)

It's funny... since putting up this camera, I think our office productivity has dropped to near zero.....
