Hi we have just recently got this little bantum
400
chick its atound 6-7 weeks old possibly older were really hoping for a hen any ideas ?
 
Welcome to BYC - what a little cutie. Can you take a photo showing the bird in side profile, often being able to see the whole bird is helpful in getting an idea of the overall body type and the patterning of the plumage on they body - both of which can be used as clues in gender assessment -- it would also allow a better view of the color of the comb....from this angle it looks pale and not pink, but sometimes a different angle makes all the difference.
 
Thankyou everyone fingers crossed were so attached to her she sleeps on my husbands head and shoulder and our two year old cuddles her all day long the sweetest little chick.
