My husband and I brought our little bantam chicks home a week ago. We are having such a great time watching them grow and caring for them. There are so many interesting unknowns: what will they look like as adults? what breed are they? what gender!? We won't know the answers for a few weeks yet, but I like observing and making guess based off things I'm reading here on the forums. I've enjoyed spying on this community for a while and figured it was time to join in! Say hello to our sweet little babies :)

Hi and welcome to BYC - great to have you onboard with us. You sure have some cute chicks!

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced poultry keepers - loads of info on anything poultry. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Thanks, CTKen! I hadn't even thought about searching for a state thread.

so glad you have joined us.

Love the names you have selected, they are all such cuties. Hope they all turn out to be what you wanted.

Enjoy every minute of your new adventures, take loads of pics, they do grow up so, so fast.

But the fun continues, my gals are now 3 yo and are still entertaining and fascination gals.

Beautiful chicks - just a little leery about one called "Scabby."
