I just have 4 barred rocked hatched 3 days ago. I googled how to sex them by the colours, the feet and the wings. But still confused. Are there anyone can help me to sex them?

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. Sorry, I'm no expert in feather sexing, but if you post pics when they are around 6 weeks old on the "what breed or gender is this?" forum I'm sure you will get answers.

Guessing sexes early is difficult. You should get pics of each separate standing to show the entire bird and especially the feet. And post those and the question under "what breed, gender" for more opinions from those with more experience.

On BR's it is said that smaller white spot on the head = pullet and larger area of white = male. But in my personal experience that was not the case - read that after picking out my 3 and was so worried I had selected 2 roos, but all turned out to be pullets.

But other sources place more emphasis on the markings on the legs/feet - more pigment and likely pullets, less pigment likely roos.

But it is still a mystery until they are older and the feathering patterns appear.

Here's hoping they all turn out to be what you really wanted. But just in case, do plan ahead for rehoming if you end up with unwanted roosters.

That's why BYC invented the "what breed or gender is this." thread. Most of the folks there, really know their stuff.
