Adult chicken is super unhappy about my new chicks - Page 2

Thanks Blooie, I'll definitely tri the scratch. I hadn't thought of that at all. I had tried to give her treats to quiet her. We have had a pretty serious predator issue over the past year. We live basically the woods so we've got every predator you can think of. While or coop/run is pretty secure now I never want to do anything that might encourage predators to notice my chickens. I didn't expect them to be friends instantly, we added others to the flock a bit late last year and it took a week or so, I'm really just worried that she's going to hurt herself or attract things with all that sqwaking because it was literally non-stop, and because she sounded hurt, it is more likely to attract predators. They know it's easier too pick off a sick/injured animal than a healthy one.

I would not have even commented but you were very rude to the people who tried to help before.
