Baby Chick Light Pinkish Blood in Stool - Page 2

The medicated feed is fine, since the amount of amprollium in it is so small. Save the electrolytes and vitamins until after they finish the Corid. Then use them for several days. Let us know how they are doing.

So, they've been on the meds for 5 days, the whole time they've acted fine; they eat, drink and run around just like normal.  As of yesterday, I saw a stool that had a light pinkish spot in it; I even forced my husband to look at it because I no longer trust my own eyes.  I don't know what to think.  If it was cocci in the first place, is there any way that it could still be there?  I've been using 1 1/2 tsp to 1 gallon of water (powder).  I feel like I'm going crazy and I'm getting really tired of looking at chick poo!  I've never had anything like this with chicks.  Any thoughts are appreciated.
