Chickens in the coop?

How old should chickens be to go into their adult coop? We are just getting chickens and want to know for the future, thanks!

Without a heat source, they can go out when they're fully feathered (typically somewhere around 6-8 weeks). If you can run heat to your coop, you can put them out there from the get go smile.png
