Why isn't my silky hen laying?

So my silky hen Sky has been isolated for months on end due to being unwell. She is just getting over a cold and is still very skinny but she seems otherwise fine. My only real concern is that ever since I isolated her, she hasn't been laying any eggs. I thought she was laying before I isolated her but we had other laying hens at the time so maybe she was never laying but if so why not or why has she stopped. Can chickens just not lay eggs or is this a problem?

Sounds like your girl has had a stressful go of things lately - between being ill and being isloated. A hen's reaction to stress is for her production to be disrupted. Even one stressor can disrupt production, and your hen has had several.
 
Oh thank you x do does that mean its normal and not harmful then? And do u think once she is better and back with her friends that she will start laying again?
