We definitely do not ship used or refurbished units to our customers, so I sincerely apologize if yours arrived in bad shape!

Keep me updated on how your hatch goes, if you need a replacement unit, we will certainly help you out with that, or can exchange it once you are done with this incubation cycle. 

I am sorry again that this has happened, it was certainly not intended!
