I was just wondering if anybody has taken liking to these birds? Just got two production red chicks and they are so flighty. Also they do not like me. It takes forever to get them out of the coop. They are so quick! Definitely way more skittish than my wellies. Has anybody got production reds and got warmed up to them? When i actually get ahold of them, they will fall asleep on my chest if i rub their head.
Also, they were very mean to my welsummers, which are a bit older in age! They warmed up, of course. I just like to think of my chickens more as my babies/pets than just egg layers, so the fact that they dont like me is a little bothersome.. Haha. Telk me your stories!
