Hello~ I need some help sexing these chicks. It may be a little too soon, but wanting to get some ideas.

This is chick 1, I think it is a light Brahma. I am guessing rooster due to the slow feather growth :(

Chick 1 again

Chick 2, I am thinking a golden seabright. Any guesses on gender? No comb at all yet.

Chick 3 Gold laced cochin.

Chick4 Gold laced cochin.

Chick 5 Buff Brahma, pullet?

Chick 6 buff Brahma,pullet?

Chick 7 Buff Brahma, cockerel?

Really it is too young to tell with any certainty. Please note that feather growth is irrelevant and feather sexing pointless unless you can be absolutely sure that it came from a sex linked slow feather X fast feather cross (you can't be sure unless you were or knew the breeder).

The first Brahma appears to be a pullet but that could change easily. The Sebright, Golden Laced Cochin #1, and first Buff Brahma so far appear to be pullets. The second GLC and the second two Buff Brahmas are highly suspicious.

I think both of your Cochins look like boys, thats a lot of comb for such little birds. The last Brahma is starting to pink up, I'd keep an eye on that one too. The others don't scream boy at this point, but that could change. Post again when they're around 7-8 weeks old.
