I was told chick is from blue wheaten Amerucana too x buff Orpington hen does the mark on head mean barring??

I wouldn't expect any barring, since neither wheaten or buff are barred (unless one of the parents has those genetics, which you would be able to see). It is blue though. What you'll likely end up with is a blue bird that has red or gold leakage, and possibly lays blue or green eggs (most likely green, if its a pullet).

Very cute!
