Baby chicks all huddled together

I'm not sure if everything is okay...I have three ten day old chicks, and ten three day olds. We are using the , and mamas heating pad nest in the brooder and everything has been great. But now, tonight, they are all pressed up against each other in a corner, on the opposite end of the heating pad/nest. The temp in the room is chilly, and the temp insert the heating pad is 88°. I'm not sure if I should be concerned? Do I just let them do what they want until bedtime, and then make sure they go under? Should I maybe turn down the heating pad temp?

You should ask in the heating pad thread. I use a heat lamp, sorry I can't help.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.
