When it came time to add a fifth 'styro' type incubator I decided to build one big one...

It measures 31.5"x32"x19", it has 4x100w & 1x75w bulbs, 2 fans and it's run with a hot water heater thermostat...We're currently running 4 racks(164 eggs) with a max capacity of 10 racks...

I used 1/2" plywood(would use better next time) and had Lowes cut 2 pieces of plexiglass for me 12"x24" and 5x31" pieces of white wire shelving...Lowes will cut both for free, I tipped the kid though...So good so far...We currently have it set up to hatch and sell one rack a weekend...We also grow our own food(fodder) for our chickens, that has cut our food bill by 80%, but that's for another thread.

What we raise is in signature...

Looks great.. so you used 10 turners?

What is made from? A fridge or cupboard, its hard to tell from the pics. Looks good though, incubators can be so expensive so if you have made it correctly them you'll be saving a fortune.

Looks to be an bagged ice merchandiser from a convenience store. You can find non working glass door fridges and merchandisers at restaurant auctions under $20.
What's your costs on the conversion?

Just 1/2" plywood bought at lowes, some screws, light sockets and a thermostat, total bill, $124.
Sorry about pics, here's more:
