Newbie seeking answers from Leakesville, Mississippi

Hello! I will be a new owner of goslings and chicks May 2016!
Yayyyyy!! I have ordered 2 American Buff goslings and a dozen assorted sturdy chicks from Mcmurry Hatchery.
No pics yet! I will be sure to update after their arrival!
I have some questions that I have either Googled and found nothing or Googled and the answers wereally vague and not breed specific.
Please be patient and please address me if I am wrong because again, I AM NEW AND INEXPERIENCED.
American Buffs- When can I introduce them to grass, outside foods, things other than non-medicated feed?
-is too much protein too early dangerous? Is there just an obesity risk or serious conditions that can result in too much of something?
Is there an easy way to sex them?
How deep can their water be once they have been introduced to water and are comfortable in it?

Chicks and Geese Que.
I am working on their coop right now and my geese were random.. as in I ordered chickens months ago and geese.. days ago.
-Can geese and Chickens be raised together as babies?
They arrive about 1 week apart from eachother.. Is there a particular way to introduce them to eachother?
-other than the geese plucking the chickens what are some other things I should watch out for?
I am still working on the coop and would like tips on how to make it comfortable for both chicks and geese.. but safe for both as well. My chick house is 10x10 and my run is predicted to be 10x20'x8'height but has room to be bigger... and I plan to have a pool or water source for my geese..
Any help and advice will be appreciated or pics of your coops!

Oh! Chick breeds are
Hen/Rooster-Buff Brahma
Hen/Rooster-Salmon Faverella
Hen-Barred Rock; buff Orpington; Delaware Wyandotte; and Red Star (sex link? Or Comet I believe)

Thanks in Advance!

Hi and :welcome - glad to have you join us.

Providing the weather is not cold, you can introduce the chicks to the outdoors as soon as you like, providing that its only for 5-10 mins to begin with AND under your constant supervision. Any signs that they are huddling together means that they are cold and must be returned to the warmth of the brooder. Chick starter is all that is required for their food intake. Sexing tends be easier after they are 6 weeks old - you can post pics on the "What breed or gender is this?" forum.

RE: chicks and goslings - I have no idea, so I'd suggest posting on the geese thread and asking about them, or search "chicks and goslings together" or something like that. I would not imagine that its a good idea due to size differences - but read about it.
