Hi there. Did you eat the others? How was their meat?

I have 2 hatchery Delaware Pullets, of course I do not know what they weighed throughout, they are still young and was given. I am working on a project meat bird for family use, mostly. I am trying to gain knoweledge to know what to look for in a great sustainable free ranged/open pastured meat bird. It would be nice to have a nice sized dual purpose! I wonder, what does it mean the texture of Jersey Giants and Brahmas?

Here is a pic of my starter Rooster, he is already doing good covering lots of hens. He is quite large, but not as large as were the other 3 slow growing broilers we butchered! Reason I kept him to cover my Cuckoo Maran hens and Jersey Girls was because he wasn't as big and had a better disposition~

no I was going to eat some of them but a woman wanted a breeding flock so I sold her 5 of the 8 and I gave one Rooster away to a teen who loves to raise chickens

Here is the final weight chart 20 weeks is this week
