Hello all I am new here. i recently bought some eggs online from metzerfarm to start a little fun project with my son, I ordered 10 peckin duck eggs. They arrived a week ago and I had it sittin out at room temperature about 70-75 degrees to wait on my incubator. The incubator I bought was the brinsea 20 advance with the auto turner. I set the temperature to 37.5 c and humidity been at 50-55%. I let it sit n stable for a couple of hours and candled all the eggs, I can see the air sac and the yolk. So I put them all in the incubator set the auto turn and it cradle back and forth every hour. Now I am clueless to what to do next lol when should I candle them again and how often should I do it. ive been doin a lot of research but see different info every where. Any help and advice will be much appreciated

Most say you should wait for the eggs to be five days old before you candle them again, after that I candle them about once a day but sometimes I skip a day. The incubator I use doesn't read humidity right so it's not very reliable so I have to check the air sacks to determine if it needs to be changed.

You put a tray or two in the incubator and fill it with water. Or use a humidifier. I use both to insure that they have enough.

The incubator I got has a tray in the middle already that I just fill the water to full but how do you adjust it like say I want less humidity or more humidity.

Put less or more water it tge tray or if you want less let all the water evaporate from the tray and fill it when the humidity gets low.
