I thought that they were Buckeyes, but that group killed that guess. I am clueless for a breed. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks, I had not thought to look it up...
Witch is weird because I am always looking things up.

Anyway I thought you where using an abbreviation like everybody does on here.
(RIR, BR, EE, etc...)

Oh, and I see what you mean about the brown, I had not noticed that.

ISA brown is just one variety of red sexlink chicken. :) it is a hybrid between some type of red chicken and some type of white chicken and should be a good layer. With this coloring, it would be female if it is that breed, and will get white feathers near the bum. :)

Although I am new to chicken raising, I purchased 6 isa browns from tsc that are now about a week and a half old, none of their wing feathers are grown in with brown on them, although one of my girls of the six is very dark compared to the others.

Well, I think I have found out what those chicks are: I found another TSC with the same chicks labeled as Red Rangers. Nice, more meat birds with an unknown egg production history. I already have 12 Cornish X, I don't want more meat birds. Oh wait, I already do. Gotta love it!
