I have been working towards a BA with a pea comb, because of the damage their combs take here in the winter.

I am on the 4th Generation now and they are looking really good, I am just curious if anyone else has down anything like this?


My original cross was a Black EE and a BA. They are looking very close to BA and the eggs color is back to the right shade (or close).

I will post pictures if anyone jumps on this thread.

You have to look really hard to tell the old from the new.

I have decided to name my new breed "Minnesota Black Australorps".


I had 2-3 lose their bands marking them as Minnesotans. They are mixed in with 25 others, Would you mind coming here and figuring out which is which?
